Research before rhetoric
R.A.T. stands for Retrieval-Augmented Thought. Its flagship Omnibrain architecture connects subject-specific reference collections, multi-perspective analysis and tools for inspecting documents, media and computations. The purpose is not to make an author's preferred argument sound authoritative. It is to give that argument something to answer to.
Our engineering brings established research and AI capabilities into a coordinated workflow. The value lies in how relevant material, competing interpretations, tool results and editorial checks are brought together—not in a claim that any single model possesses the truth.
Authored questions, accountable conclusions
The author chooses the question and material to investigate. That choice shapes the inquiry, but it should not settle the result. Research can expose a weak premise, identify a counterexample, narrow a conclusion or leave a question unresolved. The publication workflow is designed to retain meaningful qualifications rather than polish them away.
Who publishes here?
R.A.T. Engine is developed by OPComputer, LLC. These libraries are published through an operator-controlled, password-protected publishing desk. Public readers cannot publish or withdraw papers through the public library. AI-assisted research and editing are disclosed; automated editorial review is not human peer review.
Inspect the work behind the reader edition
Each paper links to its underlying report or extracted-document record. Depending on the workflow, that record may contain separate analyst responses, document passages, transcription, measurements or media observations. It gives readers material to inspect beyond the finished narrative; it is not a guarantee of a complete chain of evidence.
The publication name is not the proof
It’s Mostly True is an editorial identity, not a numerical truth rating or an instruction to reach a predetermined verdict. Where automatic placement is used, Jev from TypeSafe SystemOne evaluates the completed findings rather than simply reacting to the topic or the author's wording. It can decline to select a destination.
The standard we aim for: conclusions that remain open to scrutiny. Read the reasoning, source context and limitations—not just the headline or our brand name.
